1. Contribute time and work.
Volunteer to help build fences for folks who would let their dog off the chain if they had an appropriately fenced area in their yard. Materials and plans to be furnished by Chainfree Bristol.
2. Contribute money.
Chainfree Bristol is a not for profit organization currently registered with the State of Tennessee.
On May 23rd, 2011 Chainfree Bristol was granted tax exempt status by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service! (See May NEWS!) Support this grassroots effort, by sending your tax deductible contributions to Chainfree Bristol (memo: Dog Fence Fund). Contact Liza Conway at liza@chainfreebristol.org or at 423-534-9755. 100% of the funds you contribute will go towards fencing formerly chained or tethered dogs, educating the public regarding appropriate alternatives to this inhumane practice, or related spay/neuter efforts.
