Dec 2010 found Chainfree Bristol volunteers working to free Ace, a beautiful grey pit/lab mix, from his tether and tiny kennel. This 2 day project was recently completed by Pete, Les, Jenni, Eden, Liza and Anita. Thanks to all for getting us one step closer to freeing another dog from a permanent life at the end of a chain.
With the completion of this fence, Chainfree Bristol will have completed three fences and will have released four dogs from their chains. Pictured above: Liza and Pete. And below is Jenni getting "thank you" kisses from Ace!
After the fence build, Liza and her volunteers discovered that Ace is a digger.... but they have a solution which will be installed this week. Soon Ace... soon!
